Remove pages from a PDF

Delete the pages you do not need and keep the rest exactly as they were. You see every page, mark pages by tapping them or in groups, can let the tool find blank pages, and confirm before anything is removed. Links, bookmarks and form fields on the remaining pages keep working.

How to use Remove pages

  1. Select a PDF file or drag it into the box. Enter the password if it is protected.
  2. Tap the pages you want to remove, or select the first, last, odd or even pages or a page range. Optionally let the tool find blank pages.
  3. Check the marked pages and the number of pages that will remain. Undo, redo or reset at any time.
  4. Choose a file name, select "Remove pages" and confirm. Your original file is not changed.

Good to know: limitations

  • Blank-page detection looks at what is visible. Very faint content (for example light pencil) may count as blank, and scans with dark edges or heavy noise may not; always check the suggested pages.
  • Accessibility tags (reading-order structure) are removed when pages are removed, because they would refer to missing pages.
  • Password-protected PDFs are saved without the password.
  • Digitally signed PDFs: removing pages makes the existing signature invalid.
  • Very large PDFs may exceed the memory available on phones.

Frequently asked questions

Does removing pages change the other pages?

No. The remaining pages are kept as they are: text stays searchable and images keep their full quality, because nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed.

What happens to links and bookmarks?

Links and bookmarks to remaining pages keep working. Links to removed pages no longer lead anywhere, and bookmarks to removed pages are removed. The result tells you what was adjusted.

How are blank pages found?

Each page is drawn and checked for visible content, not judged by its file size. You choose how strict the check is, see which pages were found, and decide yourself whether to remove them.

Can I remove every page?

No. A PDF needs at least one page, so at least one page always remains.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The file is opened and saved by your browser on your device.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. The site is financed by advertising.
