Merge PDF files

Combine several PDF documents into a single file. Put them in any order, and the pages of each file keep their original order, size and orientation. Merging runs on your own device, so it works without uploading anything.

Processed on your device. Your files are not uploaded.

or drop PDF files here. You can add more files later.

    How to use Merge PDF

    1. Select your PDF files or drag them into the box.
    2. Put the files in the order you want. Use the arrows or drag a file to move it.
    3. Select "Merge PDF". The combined file is created on your device.
    4. Download the merged PDF. If useful, you can also try an optional lossless size optimization.

    Good to know: limitations

    • Bookmarks/outline of the original files are not copied into the merged file.
    • Interactive form fields may become non-editable; their visible content stays on the page.
    • Links that jump to another page inside a document may stop working. Web links keep working.
    • Accessibility tags (tagged-PDF structure) are not preserved.
    • Digital signatures become invalid, because merging creates a new document.
    • The merged file is not password protected, even if an input file was.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF is read and processed by JavaScript running in your browser. Your files are not sent to our servers. The page itself, and the ads on it, are loaded from the internet as on any website.

    Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. The site is financed by advertising.

    Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes, if you know the password. Enter it when asked; it is only used on your device to open the file. The merged result is not password protected.

How many files can I merge?

There is no fixed limit on the number of files. The practical limit is your device memory: very large documents (hundreds of megabytes) may fail on phones or older computers.

Will links and form fields still work?

Page content, page sizes, rotation and web links are kept. Bookmarks (the outline), links that jump to other pages and interactive form fields may not survive merging. See the limitations below.
